You can browse the library and read texts without creating an account or providing personal information. Some study tools, such as translations and dictionary lookups, need a free account.

Google Analytics 4 is activated only if analytics cookies are accepted through the consent banner. When active, it collects aggregate usage information such as page views, country-level location, browser type, device type, and session duration.

We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement from our hosting providers (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and check page speed. These do not set cookies or identify you.

Analytics data is used to improve the site and is not used to identify individual singers.

• Theme preference is stored locally in the browser.
• A session cookie keeps you signed in and protects form submissions.
• Cookie consent is stored locally in the browser.
• Analytics cookies are set only when analytics are accepted.

Google Sign-In uses your email address, display name, and profile image to identify your account. We store your account, plan, and saved vocabulary on our servers.

Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by Lyric Companion; we only keep your subscription status.

Lyric Companion stores account, billing, and feedback records needed to operate the service. Error reports are collected with Sentry so we can fix problems; they do not include your payment details. Texts in the library come from public collections.
