Maiden's song
(Albert Maria) Robert Radecke
Star in the vault of heaven,
Sweet herald of the evening,
Fairest and best of all!
Unto thy radiance fleeting
I give unbounded greeting,
Thou who to rest doth call.
Before thee fears are waning,
That now my heart were paining,
O soothing, tender light!
Into my heart directed,
Purity dwells reflected,
E'en as a flower of night.
