The dazzling sun is glistening
Carl Heinrich Döring
The dazzling sun is glistening
Down o'er the sea's deep yearning,
And all the waves are trembling,
Their answer thus returning.
'Tis thou who shinest resplendent,
Like sunshine, through my singing;
My songs all glow and tremble,
Thy glances rapture bringing.
