Ambulance train

Red rowans in the rain,

Above the rain-wet rock --

All night the lumbering train,

With jolt and jar and shock,

And moan of men in pain,

Beats rumbling in my brain --

Red rowans in the rain,

Above the rain-wet rock --

Again and yet again --

Red rowans in the rain.
