Under the Dreamy Moon
L. Sorensen
A dream y moon with its soft rays beaming
Perfume on the breeze,
June is just the time for spooning
Under-neath the trees.
Tell her that you love her truly,
That to her is one grand tune,
Crooning love tales so oft repeated,
Underneath the dreamy moon.
Dreamy moon softly beaming,
Maid demure and shy,
Soft low love song's crooning,
She will faintly sigh;
That's your cue,
pop the question,
Then begin to spoon.
You won your girlie,
Under the dreamy moon
Again you're dreaming another evening,
By her Dad-dy's old front gate,
The moon is smiling at your willing
For the hour is late.
She has answered to your pleading
Lucky chap youre wedding soon,
Troub le's gone thanks to the June-time,
Underneath the dreamy moon.
Dreamy moon softly beaming...
