As darkness falls
Patrick Cardy
As darkness falls and the mists melt away,
the mourning soul of the glittering green sea
raises itself in fabulous white veils of foam,
as darkness falls and the mists melt away.
The gulls dip their feathers in the night water,
and behold, the mourning soul of the glittering
green sea rejoices in the vast night,
as darkness falls and the mists melt away.
