A wedding prayer

O gracious Father, with Thy heav'nly blessing
Guard these Thy children lowly kneeling here.
Oh, let them know no hour of doubt or sorrow;
Encompass them with love, which casts out fear.
Protect them, Lord; and in Thy mercy give
To each some share of earthly joy and peace.
Bring them at last to that blest home in heaven
Where joys abound and love shall never cease.
