The sun is coming up! What are you doing?

The sun is coming up! What are you doing?

What are you doing up there?

If you are sleeping, wake up: it is spring!

If you are awake, get up: come to rejoice.

The sun is coming up! What are you doing?

What are you doing up there?

The time has come to run again

Through fields shining with a thousand colors;

To send forth songs, to gather flowers,

To drink along the brooks, to have in your heart

The joys of love!

The sun is coming up! What are you doing?

Come to rejoice...

Since if you don't come,

The flowers won't bloom!
