Maria am Rosenstrauch
M. Reger
Mary sits by the rosebush
And cradles the boy Jesus;
Three little angels swoop down
And bring the loveliest gifts.
Three blossoming roses they bring,
Shedding sweet and gentle fragrance,
Wishing to watch over the Christ Child,
Deep in tender sleep!
