Der Sonntag ist gekommen,

Sunday has come,

Ein Sträußchen auf dem Hut;

A posy in his hat,

Sein Aug ist mild und heiter,

His eyes are smiling and gentle,

Er meint's mit allen gut.

He's friendly to everyone.

Er steiget auf die Berge,
