Wir Beide wollen springen

Es ging ein Wind durch's weite Land,

There went a wind throughout the land,

Drang Mund an Mund, blies Hand in Hand

Pressed mouth to mouth, blew hand on hand,

Und war als wie ein Singen.

And sounded like a song.

Hat dich und mich zusamm'geweht;

It blew both you and me together;

Und wenn er jetzt auch stille steht:

And now that it is calm again,

Wir beide wollen springen.

We're both about to leap with joy.

Hat dich und mich zusamm'geweht;

It blew both you and me together;

Und wenn er jetzt auch stille steht:

And now that it is calm again,

Wir beide wollen springen.

We're both about to leap with joy.
